If you're mad about makeup like me, then you need no introduction to nars blush. Not only does the range sport names such as "Deep Throat", "Luster" and "Dolce Vita", but it also contains what may be the most popular blush I have heard of, the magical shade that is Orgasm blush.
I have to say I did not really get the hype. Every time I found myself at a Nars counter I always found myself veering for the blush section. They do have gorgeous blushes, but I felt the need to buy the orgasm shade. Many people say that this shade suits all complexions, but whenever I sampled it on my hand I never saw anything remarkable. Actually I never saw anything at all, it was so transparent. I kept figuring I was too dark a complexion for the blush. And as I always veered for the blush, I always put it back with a sigh. Should I buy it and try it? Or would I just be falling for the hype?
Then one day I don't know what came over me but I was at the counter and I heard myself thinking "Enough is enough just BUY the thing!" (ahh i love my inner voice - it always tells me what I want it to). So I bought it.
Oh my gosh am I happy I did! The blush makes your cheeks glow a delicate peach pink colour that looks beautifully natural. I have to admit at the moment its the only blush I am using, I love it so much!

Girl, this is the best blush color ever created. I've used it for ten years on my clients and women always buy it afterward. Wish I could set up some sort of reward program with them. LOL
Yeah now that I know and have tried it I am very happy cos I think my wandering days looking for the perfect blush has come to an end! Its thrilling!
I was the exact same with blushes, heard all the hype over the Nars Orgasm & like yourself I thought "OK screw it, buy it & see what you think". So I bought Orgasm, took it home, started my love affair with Nars blushes (*sigh* my purse hates me for my Nars & MAC addictions) Orgasm is a great shade that really does complement any skintone. I also adore Deep Throat & Dolce Vita, firm faves, also picked up Super Orgasm yesterday, its similar to Orgasm but more of a peachy tone with gold particles. . Ok sorry Im ranting on, I love Nars blushers lol, thats the reason I started my blog on here lol!!
Thats really interesting - what do you think of super orgasm? I heard it can be a bit too glittery. I am dying to try deep throat and dolce vita - they look like brilliant colours. Nars is definitely going to be the brand for blush for me from now on!
I didnt find Super Orgasm too glittery, but everyone has a different opinion of products, what works for some ppl wont work for others I guess. Deep Throat & Dolce Vita are also both really nice colors, those two plus Orgasm & Super Orgasm make up my 4 fave blushes lol. I also use Zen for contouring. Nars are by far the best blushes in my opinion
